The Computer, Electrical, and Mathematical Sciences (CEMSE) Division of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) invites applications for Assistant Professor positions in Applied Probability and Applied Analysis, with an expected start date of August 15th, 2019. The position will include a competitive salary based on the candidate's qualifications; benefits include medical and dental insurance, furnished housing on KAUST campus, annual travel allowance to visit home country, annual paid vacation, and other generous benefits. Duties include conducting research, advising M.S. and Ph.D. students, and teaching two single-semester courses per year.
Applicants must have completed all Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) requirements, except the dissertation, at the time of application. A Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) is required by the start date of the job. Preference will be given to candidates at the early stage of their careers, and to candidates with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
