Fixed Term Contract for 36 months (anticipated from September 2014)

You will assist the new EPSRC & MRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Mathematics for Real-World Systems (MathSys) by teaching Masters students, supervising Masters and PhD students, and contributing to its management, and you will pursue an active research agenda. We are particularly interested in candidates who will enhance the industrial or other external engagement and impact of MathSys and of the Mathematics department more generally.

You will hold a Mathematical PhD and be of outstanding promise looking for an opportunity to further your career at one of the UK’s top rated departments in an environment that nurtures and encourages both research and teaching.

We particularly welcome suitably qualified female applicants, as women are currently under-represented in the Department of Mathematics.
