Applications are invited from candidates from all areas of Applied and Pure Mathematics for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor posts in the Department of Mathematics. We seek individuals who wish to build strong research programmes and who are committed to teaching.

Preference will be given to candidates with an independent research agenda that will: (i) compliment existing strengths in the Department; (ii) bridge between existing areas of expertise within the Department; and/or (iii) strengthen mathematical connections with application areas.

You will hold a PhD and have some years of postdoctoral experience.

We particularly welcome suitably qualified female applicants, as women are currently under-represented in the Department of Mathematics.

Your application should include a CV and list of publications. Applicants who are only interested in the Associate Professor post should make this clear at the start of the Supporting Statement section on the application form.
