1 doctoral position (75% TV-L E13) in Munich
and
1 doctoral position (75%) in Graz

Applicants should hold a master's degree in mathematics or related areas with a strong background in one of the fields of numerics, optimization, or analysis.

Applicants are asked to submit a curriculum vitae, copies of certifications of academic qualifications held, a copy of a degree thesis or of a peer-reviewed publication (if available) and two letters of recommendation. Applicants are additionally asked to give a written explanation for their interest in at least two of the Core Research Areas of the IGDK within the application letter.
