PhD Position in applied mathematics
We are looking for a PhD candidate to study PDE models applied to plant disease propagation.
The applicant will have completed an excellent master's degree in applied mathematics and PDE analysis. A background in reaction-diffusion equations and non-linear wave propagation will be appreciated.
The successful candidate will work in Bordeaux, France, in the team 'mathematics for population dynamics' at Mathematical institute of Bordeaux under the supervision of J.B. Burie and A. Ducrot.
The thesis begins in September 2017 and is funded by a 3-years grant (Région nouvelle aquitaine)
