Postdoctoral researchers in the area of wave phenomena

The CRC 1173 »Wave phenomena – analysis and numerics« is inviting applications, as soon as possible, for Postdoctoral Researchers in the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1173 »Wave phenomena – analysis and numerics«.

Contract duration is limited to two years.

The CRC is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Its goal is to analytically understand, numerically simulate, and eventually manipulate wave propagation under realistic scenarios by intertwining analysis and numerics. We seek postdoctoral researchers to work in the area of wave phenomena.

Postdocs will work on her/his self-proposed research project. They have access to the lecture program and the interdisciplinary research network of the CRC. The CRC also offers administrative support. Teaching opportunities can be offered, too.

The following qualifications are required seeking your consideration for this position:
- Candidates hold a PhD in Mathematics or a CRC-relevant field.
- Their research profile should fit the topics of the CRC.
- They should have some international experience.
- They are open minded, active and have a good command of English language.
