Research Specialist in Mathematics
The Mathematics Division at the Science Institute seeks applicants to fill a Research Specialist position in the area of Mathematics.
The Research Specialist is expected to conduct research in mathematics. Applicants must have a strong research background. It will be taken into consideration how well the applicants research fits with the areas emphasized by the Mathematics Division. Some teaching duties come with the post (estimated to be about 15% of a normal work load).
Applicants should have a doctorate in mathematics. It is preferred, at the commencement of the appointment that no more than 5 years have passed from obtaining the doctorate degree.
The successful applicant is expected to start the appointment on March 1st 2017 or by agreement. The position is for two years with the possibility of an extension for one year.
