Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimization for Societal Challenges with Scientific Computing

H2020-EINFRA-22-2016

The Project Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimization for Societal Challenges with Scientific Computing has the objective to “provide mathematical technologies and its applications for solution of societal challenges as service through an HPC oriented cloud e-infrastructure”. These methods are highly complex and are typically processed via the most modern tools including high performance computing and access to big data bases. The new approach reduced the needed support of skilled experts, in particular in small and medium enterprises. The project was initiated by Zoltan Horvarth from the Pan-European network EU-MATHS-IN (European Service Network of Mathematics for Industry and Innovation), which is carried by leading research centres of Europe on mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation methods.
