Breakthrough Junior Challenge
The Breakthrough Prize sponsors an annual global competition for high school science and math students to inspire creative thinking about fundamental concepts in the natural sciences and mathematics. The competition is called the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, and it invites students ages 13 to 18 to create original videos that bring to life a concept or theory in the life sciences, physics or mathematics.
The winner will be awarded a $\$ $250,000 educational prize. The science teacher who inspired the winning student will win $\$ $50,000, and the winner’s school will receive a state-of-the art science lab valued at $\$ $100,000. The deadline for submissions is July 1 2018.
