Fixed Term Contract for 32 Months
You will be based at the University of Warwick and will research in "Thermodynamic formalism and flows on moduli space" as part of the research activities in Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory and Geometry led by Professor Mark Pollicott.
The fellowship with be suitable for a candidate who has experience of, and/or strong research potential, in one of the following areas: Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems; Thermodynamic Formalism; Dynamical zeta functions, Geometric Group Theory and Symbolic Dynamics, Weil Petersson flows, Moduli spaces and the geometry of surfaces.
You will have a PhD or equivalent in mathematics and the main duties of the position will be research. You will receive support for some conference travel, and may have at most a light teaching load.
