New Poincaré Chair at Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP)

The IHP at Paris has started a new program called Poincaré chair, financed for the next five years by funds from the Clay Mathematics Institute that had been reserved for the solution of the Poincaré conjecture. The initiative will allow to undertake research programs of a 6 month or 1 year duration; it is open to all the research thematics in mathematics. The objective is to give young research workers on the edge of a promising international career the means to develop deep and audacious research projects, as well as to base their international recognition.
Applications are invited until May 31; a selection process will then take place under the responsibility of a top-hand international jury.
