The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences II is seeking qualified applicants
for a faculty position in Mathematics at the rank of
Full Professor (W3)
starting April 1, 2015.
The successful candidate is expected to work in the fields of Differential Geometry
and Global Analysis and should be an internationally visible expert in
at least one of the following areas: Global aspects of Riemannian and pseudo-
Riemannian geometry, geometric and analytic problems of spectral and index
theory, or symplectic geometry. Cooperation with colleagues at the department
working in related fields such as Mathematical Physics is welcome.
Applicants have to fulfill the requirements of the federal state of Berlin for the
employment of a professor (Berliner Hochschulgesetz §100).
