LMS Research School: PDEs in Mathematical Biology - Modelling and Analysis
This LMS Research School, organised in partnership with the Clay Mathematics Institute, will feature 5 mini-courses, each totalling to approximately 5 hours of delivery time and split into 3-4 hours of lectures and 1-2 hours of tutorial/lab sessions.

Jonathan Potts, Sheffield University The emergence of spatial segregation patterns from animal movements and interactions
Elaine Crooks, Swansea University Front propagation and singular limits
Benoit Perthame, Pierre et Marie Curie University Asymptotic analysis in models of tissue growth
Luigi Preziosi, Politecnico di Torino Multiscale modeling of cell migration in fiber networks
Angela Stevens, University of Münster
Alain Goriely, University of Oxford
Kees Weijier, University of Dundee
The research school will last for five days: three full days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday starting at 09.00 and ending at 18.00; and two half days on Wednesday and Friday starting at 09.00 and ending at 13.00.
