SKWM 2019 — 2ND Conference on the trail of women in mathematics – in honor of Sofia Kowalewska

SKWM 2019 is the 2nd conference organized by PWM (Polish Women in Mathematics) jointly with the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the AGH University of Science and Technology. The subject of the conference will focus on the issues that Sofia Kowalewska dealt with and developed. The SKWM2019 conference serve as an interdisciplinary forum for research in all aspects of PDE and their applications, analysis of compressible and incompressible fluid mechanics, general relativity theory, kinetic theory, probabilistic approaches, etc. as well as the interplay of these areas with practical issues in computer science and with other disciplines such as biology, mathematics, philosophy, or physics.
On the other hand the aim of conference is to honor Kowalewska's pioneering role as a female mathematician.
