Symmetry and Perturbation Theory 2011

Saturday, June 4, 2011 - 8:00pm to Sunday, June 12, 2011 - 8:00am

This is a new conference of the Symmetry and Perturbation Theory series,

A new conference of the SPT series will be held on 5-12 June 2011, in Otranto near Lecce (Southern Italy).
Information about previous SPT conferences is available at
This conference will be slightly different from more recent venues in the series in that, in an attempt to fully recover
the interdisciplinary and informal character of the first SPT conferences, there will be no parallel session, and only
a limited number of talks. We regret that in view of this - and in consideration of the very high number of talks in
SPT2004 and SPT2007 - not all the participants will be able to present a talk, and talks will be by invitation only.
Participation is open to anybody. We expect a poster session will be organized, allowing all participants to
present their work.

The conference will be held at Hotel Daniela, close to Otranto, 40KM South to Lecce .
See for hotel rates.
The small city of Otranto is better reached through Brindisi airport or Lecce train station.

There will be a small registration fee (reduced fee for students and for those not holding a permanent position).
We regret that no financial support will be available to participants.

Contrary to previous SPT conferences, no proceedings will be published .

Registration and/or inscription to the SPT mailing list is possible on the website
SPT2011 is organized by: Giuseppe Gaeta (Milano), Ferdinand Verhulst (Utrecht), Raffaele Vitolo (Lecce), Sebastian Walcher (Aachen).
