Strobl2011 - From Abstract to Computational Harmonic Analysis

Sunday, June 12, 2011 - 6:00pm to Sunday, June 19, 2011 - 5:59pm

The conference will cover mathematical and computional aspects of harmonic analysis. Topics include time-frequency analysis and Gabor analysis, sampling theory and compressed sensing, function spaces, pseudodifferential operators, wireless communications and time-varying systems, numerical harmonic analysis, signal transforms and wavelet theory, applications of harmonic analysis.

Strobl 2011 will be very special. This conference will be dedicated to Hans G. Feichtinger who will celebrate his 60th birthday on June 16, 2011, during the conference. Strobl 2011 will be devoted to those areas of harmonic analysis to which Hans has made fundamental contributions: function spaces, Gabor analysis, sampling theory, and algorithms, and more.
