Gauge Theory and Complex Geometry

Sunday, July 3, 2011 - 8:00pm to Saturday, July 23, 2011 - 7:59pm

The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers using gauge-theoretical methods in complex geometry or vice-versa. It is meant both as a forum to present recent developements and as a means of fostering exchange of ideas and stimulating cooperation between groups studying different problems and using different techniques.

The workshop will begin on July 4 and end on July 23, 2011. During the first part of the workshop, July 4 to July 8, the main invited speakers will lecture on their work. In the second part of the workshop, the participants will give and listen to lectures (more informal than in the first part), but the programme will be left deliberately open, so that we can respond flexibly to the ideas that arise within the workshop. We hope that existing collaborations will flourish and that seeds of future, new collaborations will be sown.
