The scientific activities programme of the Centre aims at promoting prominent research on specialised topics of the mathematical sciences and will bring together international leading experts in different fields of mathematics, ranging from pure to applied mathematics, as well as to the history of mathematics. It will offer the opportunity of scientific interaction between junior and senior mathematicians from all over the world.
In most cases, financial support to younger prospective participants will be offered, upon selection and according to funds availability. Detailed information and instructions for on-line application are available on the Centre’s website.
In addition, abstracts, short notes, reports of single events activity will be accessible on the Centre’s website during, or by the end of each initiative.
The scientific activities may also end with the publication of proceedings in the “Edizioni della Normale” (http://www.sns.it/it/edizioni/collane/crm/) distributed by Birkhäuser (http://www.springer.com/birkhauser/mathematics/scuola+normale+superiore?...).
