Assistant professor in algebra, geometry and mathematical physics

Tenure track position in the algebra, geometry and mathematical physics research group of the Korteweg-de Vries Institute of the University of Amsterdam.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent qualities on both research and teaching who could strengthen or complement the existing research directions in our research group (algebraic geometry, arithmetic geometry, representation theory, Lie theory, non-commutative geometry, integrable systems, and geometric aspects of quantum theory), and further enhance the cohesion within our research group.

The position is tenure track in principle, but for more experienced candidates tailor-made options can be discussed, up to the level of associate professor.
