Junior Research Group Leader in Mathematics
The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1173 “Wave phenomena – analysis and numerics” at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology announces two positions of a Junior Research Group Leader in Mathematics in one of the research fields Analysis and/or Numerical Analysis of Partial Differential Equations related to wave phenomena starting July 1st, 2017 or later.
The CRC is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Its goal is to analytically understand, numerically simulate, and eventually manipulate wave propagation under realistic scenarios by intertwining analysis and numerics. See http://www.waves.kit.edu for a list of participating scientists, project descriptions.
More details on the position, the required qualification and the application procedure can be found at http://www.waves.kit.edu/jobs.
Job description: With these positions the CRC promotes outstanding young scientists on their path towards a scientific career.
