Postdoc in Algberaic Geometry
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Algebraic Geometry, funded by the EPSRC grant "Birational Models of Singular Fano 3-folds" under the supervision of Dr Hamid Ahmadinezhad. Applicants will be expected to hold, or be close to finishing, a PhD degree in Mathematics. They should also possess a proven research track record in Algebraic Geometry. Previous research involving one of the following topics would be desirable: explicit birational geometry, Fano varieties, methods of maximal singularities, Sarkisov program, Cox rings.
Applicants are requested to upload a CV, including publications list, research statement and other relevant documents. The research statement does not have to align with this project, and it should reflect the applicants past research and future ideas.
