Postdoc Position for 6 years, Institut for Stochastics, JKU Linz, Austria

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position for 6 years at the Institute for Stochastics, Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.
Applicants are required to have an excellent PhD in Mathematics and to show a strong record and commitment to research and teaching.
The contractal side of the position is based on the Austrian university employment contract (Kollektivvertrag) with a standard minimum salary of gross € 3.411,70 per month, and includes 4 hours teaching (in German and English) per semester.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the research areas of the Institute, in particular to the topics of stochastic analysis, numerics and/or statistics of stochastic ordinary and partial differential equations. The applicant is also expected to contribute to the research projects of the Institute, as well as to the project acquisition.
