The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Georg August University Göttingen, Germany invites applications for a Professorship (W2 t.t. W3) “Computational Mathematics” to begin on 1st April 2020 at the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics
The position is limited to a period of five years (Section 28 of the Higher Education Law of Lower Saxony - NHG -).
However, the position is constructed to allow for conversion to a tenured W3 professorship upon positive evaluation at a set time, and a decision of the Presidium in agreement with the University Foundation according to Section 7 of the regulations on the appointment of junior professorships and professorships, and tenure track Professorships (BaZ-TT-O).
