The Mathematical Institute at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen is inviting applications for the position of a
Research Assistant (all genders welcome)
starting November 1, 2020 with 75%. of the regular working hours (currently 29,85 hours per week). The contract duration is 3 years. The salary will be according to pay grade 13 TV-L.
• University teaching as defined in Section 31 of the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony (NHG)
• Mathematical research in differential geometry and higher structures.
• Master degree in mathematics or equivalent,
• Research focus in differential geometry, in particular Poisson geometry or Lie theory
• Language proficiency in English or German,
• Teaching experience is desirable.
