The project seeks to study spectral properties of operators and questions related to partial differential equations in subRiemannian and subelliptic contexts. It builds on the semiclassical approach recently proposed by the two investigators in these settings.
The project is led by Dr Veronique Fischer (Principal Investigator, University of Bath, UK) and Professor Clotilde Fermanian-Kammerer (Co-Investigator, Université Paris-Est Créteil, France). It is funded by the Leverhulme Trust (Research Project Grant RPG-2020-037).
This is a full-time role based at the University of Bath, and is being offered on a fixed-term basis for 3 years to start after 1 October 2020 by mutual agreement.
