Tenure Track Professorship (W1 with Tenure Track to W3) for Pure Mathematics

The research interests of successful applicants should complement the existing research areas at the Mathematical Institute in the areas of geometry, topology, global or complex analysis, dynamical systems. and fit well into the new cluster of excellence STRUCTURES, which is established within the framework of the German Excellence Strategy.
It is expected that applicants have an excellent publication and research record. Participation in teaching is expected at all levels.
The hiring requirements of Section 51 Landeshochschulgesetz Baden-Württemberg (the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act) apply. The Tenure Track Professorship (salary grade W1) will initially be limited to six years and, following a positive tenure evaluation, will be converted to a permanent W3 professorship. Provided that the general legal (German civil service law) and budgetary regulations are fulfilled, it is intended that the employment will have civil service status.
