As the title says, the purpose of this book is to develop life skills through Math and Science games. The book contains the description of fifty games, thought to be played by students of mainly of primary schools, guided by their educators or teachers. Each game has a theme from either mathematics or science, for instance mental arithmetics, some chemical reactions, reflecting light in mirrors or recalling parts of the body, while performing some physical activity, like running, throwing balls or transferring water from some pail to another. But the special property of these games is that they are proposed to develop certain aptitudes, like adaptability, communication, co-operation, creativity, patience, persistence, teamwork, trust,\dots \, For each game it is explicitly said which are the key aptitudes involved. Also, there are some questions to help the reflection after the game is over. All the games are to be played by groups, in a more or less short time and the equipment for the games is easy to get. The book is addressed to Math or Science school teachers or educators imparting Life Skills There is not any comment in the book about if these games have been taken into practice and which kind of results have been obtained. Thus, it gives an opportunity to school teachers to take some of these games and fully experiment them in their different aspects: playful, science learning, and developing aptitudes.
