The book is devoted to the good description of the scientific activity of Vladimír Aleksandrovich Fock, one of the leading theoretical physicists of the last century. It is not necessary to introduce him, because its concept of the „Fock space“ is well-known to anyone interested in theoretical physics. The book shows that V. A. Fock contributed to many areas of quantum mechanics, quantum field theory as well as to classical mechanics, there are also mathematical papers. He wrote his papers in Russian, German and French. The reader can find in the book their translations to English. The book presents nicely the quality and importance of his contribution to the quantum theory which is, without any doubt, extraordinary. Nevertheless, such a collection of original papers has today mainly historical interest.
